Was wondering about something today - how many Wimbledon players each year do you suppose qualify, lose their first match, and never qualify again? Is it sometimes 0? Is it 1 or 2? As many as 6 or 7 depending on the year? I'm genuinely curious.
This would go for all majors - are there any good books about the tier of professional tennis where players are on the satellite tours and the lives that this level of players lead while chasing their dreams? Kind of a "Bull Durham" but for pro tennis?

Perhaps my last post wasn't clear.
It was at Wimbledon...the same courts this tournament is played.
So, kindly eat a dick.
Also, what in the world do Nadal and Serena's absence of white have to do with each other? Were you just trying to make a Nadal crack and went with it without giving any thought to whether it made any goddamn sense?
