Winning opens the door for staff to get bigger jobs elsewhere. That's going to happen in any sports organization.
Players in the portal would want to come here and guys on the team that are going to get benched may want to see if the grass is greener elsewhere.
I'd say it keeps people more than makes others leave but opportunities open more than they close for winning programs.

MLB Network showcased Crews, Skenes, and Jay Johnson. With the success and the publicity, top line recruits should keep LSU baseball amongst the top 10 programs for a long while.
