I know this is the golf board, but figure the country club types will have an opinion or info.
My daughter is starting to get into tennis. I have never played and don't know anything about it. What are my options for getting her involved.
Do I need to join a club? If so, which one should I join? I live equidistant from Bocage, Southern Oaks, Greystone, and The Legacy.
Is there a kids league? How does it work?
I'm truly lost when it comes to tennis.

I also know nothing about tennis, but they have some nice looking tennis courts at some of the BREC parks. Not sure what it takes to sign up but if you are looking to go a little cheaper than a country club it's probably an option.

Junior program at the YMCA is your best bet. No need to join any club. They have beginner programs online you can sign her up for
Also, just an FYI, if you have the time, getting a bucket of balls and just feeding them to her and having her hit is just as good or better than any program at a young age

For instruction and development you can’t go wrong at Bocage, Legacy, or Southern Oaks. All have strong teams and instructors that help develop juniors. Pick the closest one and the one that makes sense financially.
Other thoughts to consider are things for you to do as a parent while daughter is getting lessons (swim, work out, eat, hit golf balls, have a beer, etc)

We have a tennis center here in Bossier and they have summer camps for kids. My daughter is 7 and she was interested, so we took here to a week long camp to see if she liked it.
Here's some camps I found in BR.

YMCA has a wonderful tennis manager who is great with newbies. He helped my granddaughter get off on the right path and we were very happy with the results.
