Apparently as Jonas was closing in on the front on the ascent a moto blocked the race director's car and thus blocked Jonas hampering him. He may HAVE caught Gall. I had no idea and did not see that.

One of those was Vande Velde’s moto. It’s worth going watch the USA feed during that moment.

He wasn't going to catch Gall. He lost maybe 15 seconds max.
