I actually agree with this but I think it’s because I don’t WANT to boo someone at an event like this. Truth is her and the governor shouldn’t have been part of the event. They should have seats to watch and that’s it. It’s a sports event/celebration, they don’t need to be involved.
Lastly, the people that were there at the event by ilarge majority don’t like/approve of the job she’s done and doing. How else are they supposed to voice their displeasure with her?
I don’t like it, I think it looks bad, but if you insert yourself into these kinds of events you deserve it.
Still looks terrible though…

The governor is the only elected official that should ever be recognized at such events since it’s a state university. There is absolutely no reason for the mayor of a city to be seated in the contingent, let alone speak.

It’s a bigger embarrassment when government officials like her help run a city into the ground causing lifelong residents to leave for their own safety. LSU will not survive as we know it as long as Baton Rouge stays on its current path. If you are an LSU fan you should boo her any chance you get.

I turned it on after she spoke I guess. I watched President Tate butcher the English language and turned it off. I’m a little disturbed that we have a guy who speaks like that as our school president. That’s embarrassing. I don’t care how many degrees you have, you’re judge on how you speak.
Murderous Mayor Broome and Governor Sloth don’t have a damn thing to do with the baseball team. If they got booed they deserved it. That’s what you get when you try to pander to the wrong crowd. It wouldn’t bother me that they would be present at such a celebration but to speak at the celebration is just plain stupid.
