The Gold popularity didn’t happen until we won all those games in a row in 2008 to get us to Omaha. So it because Sunday golds under Paul.

Curious as to why people are downvoting you. Yes, LSU wore gold jerseys in the 1996 Finals, but it didn't immediately become a "tradition" after that. Made evident by the fact they did not wear gold in the 1997 or 2000 finals. It became a Sunday tradition in 2008, which carried over into the 2009 CWS.
