Why are arm injuries more common today? In college they are not throwing more.Travel ball maybe?

I'm not going to sit here and act like I know the answer to that question.
And I'm not saying tnat Skenes won't pitch. He has a very easy delivery that I don't think puts much stress on his arm.
That said, comparing pitchers now days to the 90s or prior is just dumb.

Bad mechanics, more breaking and curveballs, unnatural arm motions to get more spin off fastballs, etc.
