On 3 days rest in the MLB playoffs in p multiple times lots of years. Never really heard of any of them getting hurt or injured because of it. It was their effectiveness and stamina that were the issues. My money says at sometime tonight the big guy takes the mound. Geaux Tigers!!

Back in my day, we threw 350 pitches every 2 days, then had to go get a bale of hay for the horses, water from the well and carrots for the kids and had to carry it all back while walking barefoot in the snow on the middle of the summer.

It was the 1700s, when I invented baseball, but still. Kids nowadays are such pussies.

Cubans used to put El Duque (Orlando Hernández) on the mound three or four days in a row for tournaments. After defected to the US, he couldn’t believe how little he had to pitch in MLB.

We aren’t the Cubans.
