So they have Caglianone, and I assume he starts, but what’s the rest of their pen look like?

Fisher and Neely most likely

They threw 50 yesterday each.

Neely will go if needed

They could pitch 18 innings tomorrow.

They are in pretty good shape. But they don’t have a skenes. I doubt tomorrow has the same fireworks today does

Fisher has pitched twice in a weekend only 1 time and it was the beginning of March.
Neely has done it 5 times. He threw 54 pitches last night. He’s only thrown 50+ 4 times this year including last night. The other 3 times were followed 3 day break, 5 day break, and 8 day break.
It’s not a slam dunk both will be available and effective. Slater will probably be their first out of the pen. The rest of their arms are okay, nothing special though.

They can still call on them for an inning or 2 if needed. It's all or nothing. They will absolutely call their best relief fatigued or not if they need them.

Caglianone as a starter-
He’ll go 4-6 innings. Doesn’t strike out a bunch like their other two starters. Can be wild. Vandy, South Carolina and Tennessee roughed him up some. Auburn, Alabama and Miami did as well. ERA was around 5 at the beginning of May.

They will both be called upon…we will just see how effective they are and how long they can go. The starter they have can have trouble finding the strike zone at times so need to be patient and have good at bats and run pitch count up and take advantage when he helps out with walks by getting timely hits

We can get after Caglione quick. We’ve had a really good approach against their starters, just need to start actually capitalizing on those bases loaded situations.

I feel good we will get his pitch count high pretty fast we need the timely hit.

Fisher pitched almost a complete game for them in a regional I think. He'll be ready tomorrow.

Yes. The key will be to let Caglione hurt himself. If not, we can hit him. He’s not a junk baller. We can hit his fastball and make him rely on breaking and off speed pitches which will in turn lead to more wildness.
I love the matchup.

We MUST get after Caglianone quick...
...and do something radical for a change-- give Skenes a lead to work with.
I want the Tigers to win!

Florida bringing back a golden spikes finalist on short rest.

UF poster on the sec rant said as much.
That’s what they have. I really like our odds - we need good at bats like we had early today against Waldrep.

Start with Cags. Who was brought in as a pitcher.
Ryan Slater RHP doesn't strike people out and usually good at pop ups and keeping the ball in play.
Phillip Abner LHP who is really good or really bad. Seldom in between.
Brandon Neely will close more than likely. He was a weekend guy last year. Moved to closer.

You should tell this to our hitters. Maybe it will boost their confidence
