After LSU gave up two runs to Wake in yesterdays game, they held them scoreless for basically 2 games worth of innings...impressive...

They also held us to 9 runs in 3 games. They were legit.

Yep, good pitching team that can't hit a lick. A product of a very average league with no depth and they play in a popcorn, mid level park.

Very, very good arms, no threat at the plate.

Their pitching is as advertised. Damn. Except that one guy who seemed like he was hyped up on something.

Ouch. Very impressive from watching Wake Forest's previous games.

Our relievers have been a lot better than most expected. Very much the unsung heroes of the CWS.

Damn I never connected the dots!

That kid was a nuisance! I mean that I. The nicest way possible.

He was always getting on base.

That son of a gun was weird as hell…I still can’t stop thinking about that!

Wake's vaunted offense averaged 2.0 runs per game in Omaha... 8 total runs in 4 games

where'd Wake's offense go?

only team of the 8 to average less than 3 runs per game at the end of CWS bracket play

did their little league park not prepare them for Omaha?

They were supposed to be an offensive juggernaut.

They can certainly hit. Our pitching has just been lights out.

And the ACC is a quality league, not as good as sec but you have some good teams/programs in that conference.
