We are getting ready to head out to lunch and pregame. We conversed with some during last night's game, and had drinks and conversed with a few last night at the Let It Fly sports bar at the hotel. I'll just say it like this, the Wake Forest fans simply don't know, religiously follow, and/or understand sports. They are predominately the geeky, lanky, sheltered, reserved kids. One college-aged kid in the group was more into Wake Forest lacrosse than baseball. They're odd, and truthfully, kind of a dud to interact with as opposing fans.

The Wake fans and students in Omaha are odd. They definitely stand out from the other fans. Either acne faced loner or very “church camp counselor” type, and their women leave a whole lot to be desired. You can tell they are more into the English Premier League or lacrosse than the actual baseball game. You can tell they were kind of the dorky kids growing up. They’re just…soft, whiny and recluse.
