Think you guys missed the irony here. OP is just saying anything would be better than what we have now. And that the new Omaha park affects the game the same way a dome would. (no wind, ever; balls lost in the ceiling, etc.) And no one plays all season in a dome.
After several trips to Rosenblatt, I was very disappointed in TD Ameritrade. Rosenblatt had an old-time baseball feel to it, in a neighborhood like the ones where the game used to thrive. Downtown felt stale and corporate and expensive and forced. The difference between the two is the same as the difference between sandlot and travel ball. It’s still the same sport but it’s not the same game.
