What would be the valuable things lost if you specifically were completely gone? Try to preserve those things for others and you might find some comfort

Just the human species has been around for 100,000 years maybe. Cumulatively the rise of human accomplishments is pretty impressive

This is why I no longer get existential crisis’.

Used to get them alot when I was living by myself in grad school.

Come to accept that I didn’t ask to be put here. The fact that I’m alive is a miracle in itself. Just going to try to make my offspring to be better people than I was and try to leave earth in a better place than I found it
