Epilogue:
Make no mistake about this, the Umpire had an agenda. It was not incompetence. As a fan, I feel cheated. We all do.
After having slept on what I witnessed with low ball strikes called on many LSU hitters and the 6th inning walks fiasco, my attention is now drawn to the players.
They played hard and well enough to win. As fans, we don't put in any effort. The players know what happened. Blaming the coaches and players for selective moments in this game is the work of those who would seek to cover up the theft.
The team needs the continued support and appreciation. I am proud of these guys. The team remained classy at the height of this injustice.
This team and other teams have had these things happen to them. Appreciate what this team has done. I am cheering for them right now win or not.
Thank you players and coaches for all the excitement, effort, entertainment, and heart you have shown. You're winners on the field and in life. Geaux tigers, always.
