"Field fencing" is great for goats. It will keep them in and comes 330' to the roll. I wouldn't be too concerned with number per acre as 26 acres will hold more than you want I would suspect. It will take a lot of goats to keep that much acreage down. Donkeys will keep coyotes away-having a couple donkeys around can help in that respect. Male kids need to be cut ASAP after birth unless they will be used for breeding. I raised goats for 30 yrs and stopped in 2016. Big concerns?-Goats getting out and predators getting in. Both involved having a damn good fence. Not as many problems when fence is new.
