Different sizes of fields, different competition, but this gives a general idea of how teams stack up. Of course, all it takes is playing better than your opponents to win 5 or 6 games before losing 2 or 3.
Runs scored per game
1 Wake Forest 9.40
2 LSU 9.33
3 Virginia 9.11
4 Stanford 8.53
5 Oral Roberts 8.46
6 TCU 8.05
7 Florida 8.02
8 Tennessee 7.62
Runs allowed per game
1 Wake Forest 3.00
2 Tennessee 4.00
3 Virginia 4.16
4 Oral Roberts 4.17
5 LSU 4.78
6 Florida 4.89
7 TCU 5.22
8 Stanford 6.48
Run differential per game
1 Wake Forest 6.40
2 Virginia 4.95
3 LSU 4.55
4 Oral Roberts 4.29
5 Tennessee 3.62
6 Florida 3.13
7 TCU 2.83
8 Stanford 2.05

So LSU vs WF in the Championship series...?
That would be like LSU playing Alabama in the SEC Championship Game. Or the Saints playing the Panthers in the Super Bowl.

This is inflated due to their dixie youth league home park. Seriously my kids HS field has dimensions like this down the lines.
Which means...

Runs allowed per game 1 Wake Forest 3.00
could also be inflated. Their pitching staff is really good..they haven't allowed a ton of runs in that baby park they call a home field.
Going to be interesting, if we get them, to watch our bats against their arms.

Yeah. Number 4, 10, 24, and 31 in the nation in ERA.

Same side of the bracket. It’s not possible. Florida vs Wake or LSU is highest vegas odds.

Which is weird because Virginia is slightly favored to beat Florida.
Virginia -120 vs Florida -110

Florida looks like they have a walk through to the finals.
Which means someone is going to upset them.

In conference competition should be considered with stats…..the SEC was tough this season as evidenced by the amount of teams that made the tournament.

Different sizes of fields, different competition,

Agree. There may be some advanced stats out there that account for strength-of-schedule and removing outliers like scoring 20 runs in a midweek game.
Over 60 to 65 games, most of the stats give a pretty good average though.

How many runs scored/allowed per nine innings?
Not an avid follower but I recall a lot of games when LSU run-ruled their opponents.
