A lot of good info in this thread. I’ve only been once and it was in 2009. My dad and I flew into Des Moines (cheaper flights) and rented a car. It’s about a 2 hour drive. The whole experience is fun. We met people who went up without even going to the game. Just tailgating.

there is a pretty good Air Museum about 45 min outside of Omaha headed to Lincoln. Also Nebraska campus is about an Hour or so drive. Stadium has the Heisman room were you can see them, and they had a gate that lets you walk into the staduim. A cant miss is the old Rosenblatt homeplate park, which in in the parking lot of the zoo.
