I've been to Omaha a couple of times and drove both. If I were able to go, I'd fly into Kansas City (MCI), rent a car and drive to Omaha. It's about a two hour drive from there. I also got tickets at the stadium (old Rosenblatt) but don't know what it's like now they've moved to TD Ameritrade (or whatever it's name is now). It's a long drive but very doable.

For those who have made the drive from BR- is it worth it to go through Hammond up to Memphis/ St Louis/ KC as opposed to driving through BF Arkansas on some 2 lane highway? It looks like it'll add about 30-45 minutes to the drive but I'm not splitting hairs between 15-16 hours. Just seems like a much easier drive going interstate the entire way.
