His hot streak has been entirely during SEC play and the postseason. He's proving he can hit top tier arms. Learning to play first base would be a lot easier in Low A when you play every single day and can dedicate hours a day to highly specific training.

He can learn 1B and DH in the minors. Teams aren’t going to be afraid to take him based on his bat just because they haven’t seen him at first.
