Guys, my golf greens are built on 12" sand and tees and fairways are sand capped with 6" sand. If I was in native soil, I would water deep and infrequent. watch your turf. if you water too much the roots won't drive deep, they will stay shallow. Soil is everything. but deep watering is your friend

How often do you mow your fairways, roughs, and greens? and what grass types are used year round? And what zone is your golf course in?
