Yes, I am still on fb so frick off lecturing me how horrible I am for still being in there.
Next, not one single post about the Trump news on my fb feed.
Either:
1) they (fb) is not allowing for those posts
2) people simply don’t know about it
3) people are numb and tired of it, so people don’t care
And I have a LOT of Trump AND DeSantis friends on my Facebook who all post political shite all day
Either way, it’s just very odd to me

There’s other possibilities such as people might be too embarrassed to post about it because they know it’s a sham Even though they’re doing a little dance.
And they don’t want their friends to make fun of them.

Combination of several things:
1. People have become so numb to the double standard of the justice system, that things like this, (of which there have been many), don’t even register any more.
2. People realize that posting on facebook doesn’t matter. At all.
3. People realize that by supporting Trump online, they’ll be labeled racist, etc., so they refuse to pick that fight.
Most of the folks that this would and should upset are too busy working, raising in-tact families, paying taxes, and staying out of trouble to devote any additional attention to political theater.
The problem with that is that this is no longer political theater, they are federally charging a former POTUS who is the defacto Republican nominee in the upcoming election. A rogue blatantly political NY prosecutor is one thing, but this act had to have been signed off on by the Attorney General and Biden himself. This is uncharted territory.

Because nobody younger than 70 is in that platform

I think most everyone has just gotten the message that people are sick of politics on Facebook. I never see political posts on there anymore.

Both of these are me. The first one, I’d rather not have the fight.
The second is if I want to keep working and supporting my family and being able to afford the nice things my job has afforded me, being labeled a racist or getting into a political pissing contest online is the last thing I would do.
