It's crazy up here. It's orange outside. Not just the sky. Everything.

Fires in Alberta made us absolutely miserable for the first week of May. Thank frick it rained for nearly a month straight or the air would be thicker than my Marlboro smoke.

Ha, I just started a thread with a bunch of pics and sat images. It isn't just NY, either.

We had this a few years ago in Chicago from wildfires in Canada. The smoke got really dense one day but cleared out a bit the next day and then fully moved out a few days later when the winds changed. For a time everything looked grey and orange and the smoke was miserable if you were outside.

It wasn't quite as bad as those pictures though. Looks horrible there in NYC.

I heard it's affecting the minorities more than the light skinned people.

I'm south of the city in central Jersey. There is a smoky overcast down here right now, been here all day. The sun is orange coming through the haze. Plus you can smell it.

I can tell you firsthand it is awful.

I am in Toronto for the Canadian Open, and it is hard to breathe. Everything is coated with a fine powder from the smoke.

Meh. I've seen worse in the Quad during sugar cane season.
