I 10 in the Houston area has had continual construction since the 1960's.

Always under construction trying to keep up with all the illegals flowing in.

I don’t think they ever finished the original construction on I-65 between birmingham and huntsville.
There’s always a lane closed for a significant stretch on one side or the other, but usually both. My whole life.
