I’m trying so hard to get this right and move to no till buffalo method using the drill, Crimper, and saving on fertilizer

This is our 3rd year on the drill. Still a bit of a learning curve to get it right. We were planting the joint vetch(summer), and clover(fall) too deep with the drill. Germination was spotty. Adjusted the drill to basically be controlled broadcasting. We’ll see what happens.

What drill and how deep were you going?

Did you use herbicide first?
