I know they’re glorified Hondas.
My wife doesn’t want Honda; thinks they’re cheap.

Showed her the interior of an MDX and she liked it.

Any bad experiences with them?

Bought one for my now ex wife with the "technology package"; it had major electrical gremlins.

Left her and my young kids stranded on an on ramp to a busy highway when it stopped running. The radio and navigation often didn't turn on when starting.

The 1st and last Honda product I've ever purchased. Won't say never again though, because a Honda jet would be pretty sweet.

ETA: I believe this was a 2015 model. Remains the only car I have ever gotten rid of prior to paying off/with less than 100k miles. Very disappointing because was otherwise a very nice car.

My wife had two of them and both were great. I’d definitely buy another one, but the way Honda/Acura packages everything ends up adding a lot to the cost for just a few desired features.

Have had one for going on 10 years. Been great. Tires, brakes, struts. That’s it.

We had a new one in 2014, kept it for 3 years, and loved it. Not a lick of trouble. Good power. All wheel drive. Very nimble and sporty. Can't speak to the reliability of the newer models.

Got the wife a new one last year. So far it been a great car. I get annoyed with the driver assist features but she likes them.

I bought my wife one. You can get them pretty cheap with low mileage coming off of a 3 year lease. We have’t had any problems after buying a 2016 4 years ago. The tech kind of sucks, but it’s a smooth ride and handles well

I own one. 2020. Bought new right before the blow up in prices. Zero bad experiences. I could still sell it for what I paid which is crazy.

2017 owner with tech package. I’ve owned Acuras for over 25 years. They’re reliable cars and I haven’t had to do anything but regular maintenance. If I had a complaint it’s that the technology seems a few years behind what it should be, especially considering how technologically advanced the Japanese claim to be.
Be warned the MDX is not a large vehicle relative to many cars/SUVs today, which works for me due to limited parking space.

Have one 245,000 miles. Reliable but has electrical gremlins. It’s smaller than it looks.

Got the top of the line MDX.

It's jerky at low speeds. I WILL NOT get one again.

Overall, I am really pleased with the quality of the interior. I use the massaging seats every time I get into my vehicle. The sound system in the Type S (Advanced Package) is the best "stock" sound system I have ever listened to (something like 25 or 26 speakers).

The gas mileage sucks. About 17 combined. I don't accelerate fast, but I do go well-above the speed limit on the interstate which hurts my gas mileage.

Bought the wife a '23 MDX this past December, she loves it and it's fun to drive. What specifically do you want to know about it?

Have a '19 MDX Advanced package. SH-AWD is nimble and a good drive in sport mode but I feel the car is severely under powered in normal mode. The lane keep assist works well but I really wish there was a way to turn off the adaptive cruise control. It sucks! It's my wife's car but use it a lot when I go out of town for work because it gets about 26 mpg. on the HWY. So far only regular maintenance. No mechanical or electrical issues.

My wife has a 22’ model and the only thing that I hate is the media screen.

It’s not touch screen and you have to use this stupid mouse pad to navigate it. fricking stupid.
