For most people, they provide 1% or less improvement in running economy. I personally save my Vaporfly’s for race day and don’t train in plated shoes, but don’t think it’s that big a deal if someone wants to. Proper training, recovery, diet, and sleep are all much more important but I think we all know that.

if anyone is interested in trying takumi sens 9 for $80 - limited sizes. also have some adios pro 3 for $140ish. I really like the pro 3. can be daily runner or even a race day shoe. Ran several 50k's and "speed" work in them with no issues. I'd pick vapors for race day marathon but pro 3 feels little more stable for daily use at any distance / pace.
