Staff and customers at several Target locations were evacuated on Friday after bomb threats were made at select stores across the country as controversy continues to grow over the company's LGBTQ+ merchandise.
CBS News affiliate WOIO in Cleveland, Ohio, received an email at 12:26 p.m. Friday warning of bombs that had been placed in five different Target locations near the city. According to a screenshot of the email, which was published by the outlet, the threat was made in response to Target's decision to remove its LGBTQ+ pride collection from its shelves earlier this week.
"Target is full of...cowards who turned their back on the LGBT community and decided to cater to the homophobic right wing redneck bigots who protested and vandalized their store," read the email. "We won't stand idly by as the far right continues to hunt us down."
Several Target locations were evacuated on Friday after bomb threats were made in response to the controversy surrounding the company's LGBTQ+ collection.
WOIO's staff contacted local police departments as well as the Cleveland FBI regarding the threatening letter. According to a release from the Jackson Township Police Department, police dispatch received calls around 12:40 p.m. from both WOIO and WEWS, an ABC News affiliate based in Cleveland, regarding a potential bomb threat at a Target in their county.

How do we know it isn't conservative activists taking advantage of the situation and pretending to be bitter LGBTQ+ activists?

Sounds like we got ourselves some domestic terrorists- some LGBTQ domestic terrorists. Will the Biden DOJ have enough integrity to investigate and prosecute them?

It won't. That is called "acceptable intimidation".
As long as people commit acts of violence and terror on behalf of something the establishment agrees with, most of them won't be punished. Kinda like how nazi Germany didn't punish most of the people who committed acts of violence and terror against Jews and Jewish allies, years prior to the holocaust.

I can’t think of a more cowardly act than phoning in a bomb threat or placing a bomb anonymously to harm others.

I would imagine similar rhetoric in the yet to be released (i.e. INTENTIONALLY WITHHELD) Nashville shooter "manifesto." Almost like they're mentally ill, or something.

Or... kinda like how the government did nothing as pro-abortion terrorists firebombed several pregnancy centers. The terrorists would even get on social media and take credit for the attacks. FBI came out and pretended that there was nothing they could do to find them.

It’s interesting that the left accuses the right of hunting down people and being dangerous when we peacefully boycott something or use words only to express our displeasure, but the left shows it’s displeasure with actual violence and threats of violence.
