These activist Judges will be the Achilles heel of BR, it’ll only get far worse as the years progress. I wish BRPD would provide some kind of an update on the lady who was gunned down in her own driveway in the Sherwood Forest area after a night out, several years ago. It seems as though the case went completely cold, despite surveillance footage showing the tPOS on video.

Same with the Allison Rice case. I think we could all picture in our heads pretty close to what the suspect(s) look like but I don't either will ever be solved. Just no solid leads/details I guess.

IIRC the video wasn't much help but there was also audio, possibly from a Ring doorbell type of device. All I could gather from it was that it was most likely a young black male though. Good luck following that lead.

As a general rule, if you get picked up for another crime while on bail, there needs to be a hearing on whether to revoke their bond.

Yeah it’s a tough case, tPOS stalked the poor woman like prey. The perp was definitely black from the footage that was released. Sherwood, Tara, entrances around Florida Boulevard, have numerous plate readers that are hopefully in working order. I wish there would have been some follow up made by BRPD, regarding license plates that were scanned in the area leaving the scene of the homicide. Just silence from BRPD.
Oh and another shooting today just north of Zion City, no real surprise there

The Governor and Republican legislators in MS got tired of all the same bullshite in Jackson.
They created a jurisdictional patrol for the Capital Police and created a separate court to handle all of the arrest.
They are taking the crime and courts out of the hands of the locals.

Saturday night is always hot for more shooting deaths. Sadly enough, the carnage doesn’t look like it will stop anytime soon.
