Les Miles Salary Question

quote:

Saban makes a 150k bonus for the SEC champ game and another 450k for the NC.

is that for winning those games? or just getting to them?

I thought that was a good question, so I found out...

75k for playing in the SECCG or 125k for winning.

65k for any old bowl game
or
90k for Chick-Fil-A, Cotton, Outback, or Capital One bowls
or
125k for a BCS game not designated the NC game
or
200k for the NC game
or
400k for winning the NC game

Turns out my #s were a little off to begin with, but the point is still valid.

Most coaches (including Les) have these bonuses built into their contracts, in addition to graduation rate clauses, etc.

So he will get an extra $250k when he loses the SEC and plays in the Sugar.
