Same. To each their own. Keto is a great tool in the toolbox to achieve a calorie deficit if it works for you (and it does for many people). I'm not personally interested in it, as I have no problem controlling my portions while enjoying a varied diet that includes carbs.
I think the only time keto annoys me is when people won't acknowledge that they lost weight on keto due to the calorie deficit they were in. Not because avocados have magic powers that make fat fall off of you.

The key is to keep your glucose levels relatively low to prevent inulin spikes. Insulin makes you fat. You can do that in one of two ways, not eat much sugar and carbs or live an active life style (or both).
Serious athletes need carbs. Sedentary day job peps need keto.
