Haven’t kept up closely with it but the OT claims the so-called “Karen” got fired from her job at the hospital over this.

Here's a good breakdown of what happened. The kid tried to get creative on the 45 min allowed on those CITI e-bikes before you get additional charges.

I don't agree with the creator of the video saying they were both at fault. But I will give credit to the kid's friend who offered her his bike to resolve the issue.
