How do you target them?
Your rod and Reel needs will vary considerably depending on how you're fishing for them.
Soaking a cork and shiner? Casting a road runner? Vertical jigging in deeper water on tops? Perch jerkin shallow cypress trees? Shootin' docks?

Mostly vertical jigging over piles. I shoot docks about 25% of the time.
