This is essentially what they have done. Its hard to imagine the water cooling enough by running the keel, but looks well-designed in person. Id sure like to read about some real world test results. I havent seen much on these all Summer.

Big diesel engines have been Keel cooled forever. It works great and isn't complicated at all. They'll sell em faster than they can build em
