75 million votes, the gop lost to obama twice then lost to Trump who went on and beat Hillary, who the gop would have lost to.

Been dead since Bush.

I can't trust you. You're that blind SEC official that won't see the truth.

Come on T-Town…if the elections were honest DJT and BDR would both mop the floor with Biden. That’s the main issue at play…

So you really think conservative voters who favor the former President are going to vote for Biden if Desantis wins the primary

How does Desantis beat Biden polling at 20% in his own party

And hasn't even announced a run for President. That's pretty remarkable.

When did I say that?

I think many of you on this board, including yourself, will sit at home and pout because you didn't get your way, or write in Donald Trump and waste a vote.

It could also be said that half this board would rather see another Biden term than for Trump to beat Desantis in a Primary. Remember, when you point your finger at someone there are 3 pointing back at you.

This place is echo chamber

It absolutely is, which explains why the majority of this board is surprised when shite and incredibly flawed candidates lose General Elections. The majority of this board has no clue how Independent voters think.

quote:

I just dont see anything changing the train-wreck that is coming.

The only people who can stop this are Republican Primary voters. We have a golden opportunity, but I fully expect us to be retarded and frick it up.

quote:

I see “conservatives” debating Trump, desantis, etc
But at the end of day will it matter?

Of course it does, and that's what the primary is for. One of them has already lost to Biden and is cratering even more with Independent voters. The other has higher favorability ratings than Biden with Independent voters and would win a General in a landslide.

quote:

The fact that Biden will run again when things seem this dismal is scary.

The Dems are screwed. They can't run anyone else.
quote:

majority of people(voters) only tune in short spans to the major networks and see what they are shown and believe it.

There is truth to this, but the majority of the country dislike Biden and think he's a bad President. His approval rating is 42-43% on average. There's a reason why the majority of the country doesn't want him to run again. They don't want to vote for him in a General Election. If we nominate a weak candidate they will, unfortunately, vote for Biden. It's retarded and stupid logic, but it's the reality.

quote:

It’s truly crazy to me that any logical person can’t see all of the crap around them and not put two and two together.

Agreed, but that goes to my point above. The majority of the country dislikes Biden. The majority of the country thinks he's a bad President. The majority of the country does not want to vote for him in 2024. However, there is a certain candidate on the Republican side that they absolutely HATE. There's a distinction between hating someone and (severely) disliking someone. It's retarded logic, but they'll vote for the guy they dislike over the guy they hate.

This will anger many on this board, but it's also crazy if we nominate the only guy who has and will lose again to Biden. The question becomes will we adapt and do what's necessary to win? Or will we double down on stupid pills and lose again?

quote:

Sorry rant over…just sad

It is sad, and you have every right to be sad. I'm right there with you.

something about your post suggests you hold views no longer mainstream since you maintain EVERY source the under 45 sees is leftist.
most people know how to choose news sources on their news feed for their phone and most people figure out how to stop getting from a source.

And the other half would rather see another Biden term than for Trump to beat Desantis in a primary.

See how that works?

Boy, I sure do. Always have. I love IRL debates more than message boards. It's fun. Has it caused distress to some co-workers? Sure. But I didn't give a shite. My motto has been "If you can't defend your opinion, maybe you should change it."
