If you know someone with cable like family or friends they can usually create additional e-mail logins for up to 5-7 people to use as logins. You would just use that additional login info to sign into ESPN.

Click the person icon top right. Then select TV Provider under the dropdown menu.
Then select your TV Provider (Youtube TV)
Logging in from the app on your TV should be somewhat the same. Just follow the directions. Sometimes the app will tell you to type a link into a browser and give you a code to enter before confirming your TV provider login.

ESPN + is totally worth is, because you can watch all the SECN + games through the ESPN APP.
