Generally, yes. Grant management and proposal writing? Typical corporate paper pushing. Oh sure, there's a "correct" way to write a proposal, but you learn that by doing. You didn't learn it from your Masters degree.

I know a girl who is in grant management. She has a journalism degree. Her friend hired her and she learned on the job. She is great at what she does!
