re: How did you cope with putting your dog down?

Dogs don't deserve to suffer, and you know they would. The loyalty of a dog is unmatched. Your wife, kids, friends...can't match the unconditional loyalty a dog has for it's owner. I'm at about year 3 on my first dog, and it's going to crush me when the time comes. The only way to cope...is to get another dog...and hope it works out.
