None of that means anything. So much is changed since 2009. Baseball has even gotten more difficult. Transfer portal has allowed players to move in and out of organizations. NIL. The bat. The balls. Who is the Louis Coleman of the staff? Who is, as we found out a multiple gold glove MLB All-Star in DJ? Who’s going to have the big hits like DJ did versus Texas in game 1?

CPMs teams were notorious for finishing incredibly strong down the stretch. They tend to be better over the back half than the front half of the season. While I’m not saying this team won’t do that, I am saying I haven’t seen that in Johnson just yet.

It is very difficult to compare different teams from different time frames with different coaches with different rules, etc. I wish people would stop doing this.

Also, Tommy White or Gavin Dugas. Possibly even Jordan Thompson because of his clutch gene at the plate.
