re: How old and how long did you go back to college for?

I went to college for 3.5 years, had an okay GPA - but life got in the way, I stopped going and kept pushing off going back.

I was 29 when I finally got off my arse and went back. Most of the jobs I was interested required a BA and most preferred or required an MBA.

I transferred my credits to the school near my work and finished out my last 36 hours. (Took about 3 years, going at night and/or weekends.)

Got my BA, took a semester break and then did an SEC school's online MBA (started at 33) and killed that in 18 months.

Best decision I've ever made - life has had an upward trajectory since. (Not because of the degrees - though that is some of it. Because of the maturity, focus and effort it required of me to finish.)

Also, college girls are fish in a barrel at that age.
