6s here. As long as a cellphone works I'm good with it. Not seeking social approval to brag about owning the latest and greatest and enjoy spending money on other things and not padding the profits of a woke corporation.

4 years. S10+.

I don't want to upgrade, but since Samsung promised 4 years of security updates and 3 years of software updates for phones in 2019, I won't be getting any more security updates (final one was last month) and I'm maxed out at android 12.

I feel I got my money's worth and I'll have to upgrade soon.

iPhone Xs

Released on 9/21/2018 and purchased on the day of release.

I replaced my battery over two years ago, and it's almost time to do it again, which I won't do this time around.

I'll buy a new phone later this year. If I can get 5 years of out my new phone again, I'll be doing good. I don't see a reason to upgrade every year.

Rounding into year 3 on my 12 Pro. Usually get 4-5 years out of them, but like another poster I push them until the battery no longer holds up, but now I have chargers everywhere so I should be able to go a little longer this time.

Battery healthy is currently at 90% after 2 1/2 years

Just upgraded from the iPhone 11 to the 14pro. ATT offers an $800 rebate when trading in an 11 or newer. My phone was really starting to lag and that rebate was around the same price I paid new. The only downside is you only get the credit if you do the 36 month term but we have had Att for years and don’t see us changing carriers anytime soon.

Ip12pm 512 Gb. Bought during covid lockdown.
Still works and has plenty of storage.
No reason to upgrade unless it’s to get a 1tb model.

Hanging on to an iPhone 7. Battery health at 84%, but charges to 100%. Works like new, no issues at all, but will upgrade to iPhone 15 when it comes out later this year.

Don't really need a new phone, but the screen and camera technology is the reason for the upgrade.

I've had my Galaxy S20 for almost 2 years now. And I plan on keeping it for a long time. I don't see any reason to upgrade.

I still have every cell phone I have ever owned going back to the Nokia 5110.

But I currently use a 6s...changed the battery a few years back and still going.

For those who never saw one. A true tank of a phone.

A month for my Pixel 7 pro. Before 18 months for 5a. Used BlackBerry Red Key2 for over two years but the big switch to 5g meant I had to switch. Jerks.

11 pro. I usually just get a new one when the battery drains from full to zero in less than an hour or so from using phone. I had a 5s or 6 before this phone.
