Is there any way to change brightness when plugged in vs not plugged in on Windows 11?

Kind of a dumb question and late question, but on my old laptop, the brightness would automatically increase when you plugged it in to charge. My new (which I've had for a year and a half ) laptop doesn't do this. It's a very minor thing but I like it being bright when I'm using the plugged in computer in the evening vs dim when I power up in the morning. I'm just tired of manually adjusting the brightness every time. I looked around in settings and the control panel but it seemed the option just was not there. Seems kind of silly if Windows got rid of that feature. If anyone shares my plight I am all ears
