You may be a bit retarded.....immigration is a very good thing if it's done within the rule of law and the immigrants assimilate into society by learning the English language, respecting our laws and traditions and becoming productive citizens.

Swing and a miss.
My wife works in the immigration field, and it's a complete shite show right now, which shouldn't be surprising.
Her heart breaks over and over when she's working with people in tragic situations who get the shaft as they try to go through our processes the correct way, all the while people who come/stay in the country illegally are coddled and given preferential treatment over the folks trying to the right thing.
It's a really fricked up way to treat people.
