La Fonda - old ladies with beehive hairdos smelling of smoke; great bean dip
Murphy's
Art Bar
Mr Gatti's
The Mill - no one seems to remember this place
Gator's Shuck N Jive
Paradise Records - spent so much money there
Carlos' Mexican restaurant - excellent seafood-centric Mexican dishes
Sammy's on Exchequer for plate lunches
The Place - went there for business lunches as a 25-yr-old professional in mid-90s
Tex-Mex Cafe
Burger Tyme
Tabby's Blues Box
German/Bavarian restaurant downtown (I recall their Black Forest cake.)
Backpacker
Blue Moon ETA: SILVER Moon
billiards place off College/Corporate (Clicks?)
Europe's
Fifth Generation Systems bought by Symantec
Schwegmann's
Babbage's @ Cortana (worked there temporarily)
Drusilla @ Cortana Mall for a blackened cheeseburger after work
Fairway View Club (fried pickles were the best ever)
Weekends
The Zoo
In the mid-90s, we took clients to a place off of Airline for a decent lunch. Ziggy's? Decor was kinda grandma-ish, but the food was good. ETA: Not Ziggy's. KIVA's. I see it is now Portobello's.
Bonus: Wuvvy's/Captain's Quarters in Gonzales for fishbowls with my friends in the AP.
Was going to add Our Daily Bread, but I see they are still open.

I remember it now that I have seen the name. They made their own beer, correct?

I worked for both and FGS is still my favorite job even though I didn't make shite back then.
