Lastly, the clock…I don’t mind it for TV. I do NOT like it for games I attend, especially major leagues games on my summer vacations. I’ll be at Baltimore, Philly, and Boston this summer. I want to soak in the atmosphere, grab a beer, walk around the park and take pics, and still be able to pay attention to the game. I don’t want to spend money to park, fork over a large sum for a ticket to Fenway, then be treated to a 2 hour game.

I can see this. It is absolutely much better for television. As a Cub fan the 7:00 games that lasted until 10:30 or later, I'd never make the end. But now I probably will.

I had the same feeling as you 08 regarding the live product. When I go to a game at Wrigley I never looked at my watch, it was the experience. But I went to the opening series this past weekend and I was fine with it. I never looked at my watch then either, was still able to soak it in and when it was over had a bit more time to enjoy the Wrigleyville experiences as well.
