Curious as to how the faster games are going to affect the in-stadium experience. I assume that concession prices will go up at some point, when you are cutting 30-60 minutes off the time people have to buy them.

We'll just see more bloody ads during the games to make up for the shorter games. Jersey and helmet ads make me want to stab my eyes with a fork. I expect to see more fake ads plastered on the field or somewhere else during the telecast.

I went to the Mariners game on Saturday and they opened the stadium up earlier. It probably had more to do with Julio Rodriguez bobble head night and Monster Jam happening at the same time next door at Lumen Field than the rule change, but I guarantee they did great on concessions even though the game was barely over two hours long.
The Mariners lost, but best live MLB game I seen in awhile and it was due to the new rules. I’ll be back tomorrow to see Shohei pitch. The attendance jump due to the new rules will make up the difference in concessions revenue.
