I dont care why she did it. Clark did the same to Louisville, caught a personal foul for shoving Poa to the floor, and caught a technical for throwing the ball away like a petulant child. She earned it every ounce of it

Could you imagine the media (& this board) if this was Reese?

I'm pretty sure Clark did some "bye bye" type of waving at USCe at the end of that game.

A steal, but usually a particular kind of steal, taking the ball when it appears protected at their side (like it's in their pocket) instead of a steal on a crossover, etc.

no offense.

just hard for me to picture you as someone who’s ever spent much time on a basketball court

Just glad she didn’t get a Technical foul for taunting at the end of the game. Wave and point to your ring finger when time runs out. But it really means nothing in the big picture. What an amazing season

Tell us you’ve never watched baseketball without telling us you’ve never watched LSU.

Pick the pocket in all levels of basketball is talk for steal. From 10U AAU to the WNBA.

Well that's not what was said. What was said is that the way they guarded South Carolina showed a kind of disrespect that she didn't think they could get away with against LSU. And the disrespect referred to here is clearly a matter of lack of respect for your opponent's ability, not personal disrespect.

After the game Reese said “South Carolina is still my SEC girls and y’all not gonna disrespect them either”

I don’t really care I just thought it was a weird thing to take as disrespect. Also thought it was weird that she followed her all the way across the court to wave in her face, but that’s just me.

You’d be quite wrong

Played sports my entire childhood through high school. Soccer (indoor and outdoor), baseball, basketball, football, track (middle distance and jumping events). Soccer fell by the wayside first, then baseball. Played basketball through sophomore year of highschool and played football through graduation. Still ran a bit of track, but that was primarily just to stay active in the off-season.

I was actually a fairly elite athlete as a kid, in all of those sports. Problem was that I stopped growing at 5’9” flat, so my athletic ceiling was a bit limited

This whole incident is so stupid. I played tennis for lsu and the furthest we made it as a team was the sweet 16, and on those teams I was the 5th or 6th best player. I was never at the equivalent level of Reese or Clark.

And guess what? I flipped the bird at opponents, I grabbed my nuts toward opponents, I told them to go frick themselves. And that’s in a country club sport… People talk shite in all forms of sports And some of these guys were close friends that ended up standing in my wedding…You don’t care about that as a competitor

Reese and Clark talking a little shot every now and then is nothing. It’s fun, it’s sports. For fricks sake let them play

To be honest, I was on TR disrespecting our team after the Miami game - awful outside shooting, like 10 missed layups and 10 missed free throws. But, did we ever show up today - especially Jasmine! There is no doubt in my mind that Iowa getting over the SC hurdle took their legs and focus out a bit. We played a championship game and are champions - Geaux Tigers!

I have no problem with the hand wave by Reese in general. What goes around comes around. But for Reese to follow her across the court and wave it in Clark's face was totally classless.

shite happens in the heat of the moment. No athlete actually cares. I promise Reese
And Clark will be fine and dandy texting each other emojis tomorrow
