He could replace that bucket with a handgun in a safe and in the rare case either is needed, I feel like the gun would be more effective.

But go on with your virtue signaling as if anyone is going to take a shite break in a bucket in the middle of an unlikely active shooter situation.

Screen for the best and the brightest, pay them very well(so we could expect more of them). Train & educate them so they are equipped to deal with today's classrooms, including school shootings.
That would be an investment worth making if we value our children. I know it will never happen but would be a smart move.
