Missed the three freshman regular starters and the number outs freshmen pitchers? There’s definitely a mixture of youth and experience.

Using some young players does not make the team young. Every school uses freshmen.

Our experience is a huge strength. Whatever issues we’ve had today should not be blamed on “we’re young.” Older, veteran players have made the mistakes today, with the exception of Hurd, who kind of is what he is at this point.

My question is when is this “we are young” excuse ever going to end? Because I’ve seen this excuse on here every single year
