That dude struck fear into the hearts of opponents. You just knew that he was gonna pull it out every time.

Even during the Auburn game that was so close in 2019, he came through down the stretch and did just enough for us to get the win. The Florida game, Texas game, and Alabama game were all very back and worth , but Joe kept on striking and striking uni the opponent was vanquished.

The crazy thing is he wasn’t that great until 2019. He was only good but not really anything special the end of 2018 against A&M and UCF when he came into his own finally.

My hope is that the light finally comes on for Jayden Daniels this season in much the same way that it did for Joe. It didn’t happen until Joe’s 5th year of college. It’ll be a magical season if JD can put it all together and take that step forward. Geaux Tigers

That Texas win was so sweet. No one knew what we had at that time.

Can’t stand when people say this. Burrow started a total of 13 games prior to his fifth season. Daniels has started 43 games going into his fifth season. He isn’t going to miraculously turn into Burrow, he is who he is.

I was just thinking today if joe burrow was on some of les miles teams would those teams be considered the goat?? 2006, 2012?

I mean les miles was always a qb away from having a phenomenal team. I guess though in reality he would still be handing off the ball instead of throwing it so much.

Imagine Burrow if Bryan Kelley were his coach. But it’s a good thing we didn’t hire Hermann or Fischer in 2016 bc Burrow never would’ve come here. Reilly and Burrow would be interesting though.

It’s not often you see many burrows at a dam.

I’m beginning to think that people refer to him in a plural state because that’s how good he was. It was like having two guys back there.

He was always offsides - even in games after daylight savings time went away.

Your post would probably be better received if you actually got his name correct. Kinda loses some of its umph when you get the guy's name wrong, being such a big fan of him and all.

Also, proper grammar helps.

JD does not have the receivers Joe had. Also the scheme and online are not in the same stratosphere.

How do you still not know how to spell his last name? And JD5 is going to be fine but don't put unrealistic expectations of him having a similar output to Joe Burrow's final season which is the single best season in College Football history.

Don’t get your hopes up too high on this. I like Daniels and think he will improve some but he won’t make some big leap. He kind of is who he is at this point and LSU has the ability to do great things with him.

If you're trying to say dominant performances, I'd suggest watching the baseball team. There are a couple of pretty dominant players doing their thing week to week.
