If your district doesn't have any sort of payout structure for your accrued time after ten years then that is on them for being stupid, screw em.

Use the days you've earned, it's not your fault you were a loyal and hard worker for all those years.

A number of my friends and I left my old district at the end of last year and a couple of my friends were in a similar boat to you. One of them was a coach and wasn't able to use all of his days since he was in season, but the rest of them used all their days.

My district at least had a percentage payout for days after ten years though, we just all happened to be in the 8-9 year range.
